Laubach Gains SCTE Seniority

The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers said Friday that it has elevated Mark E. Laubach to senior-member status.

Laubach, an SCTE member since 1996, has been CEO of Broadband Physics Inc. since December 2002.

The SCTE grants senior-member status to "industry professionals who have exhibited a high level of competence and professionalism in their career while actively participating in the society," the group said.

Senior members must possess a minimum of 10 years of technology experience, including five years of broadband-communications experience, the SCTE added.
