ESPN Offers Free Deportes Preview

ESPN Deportes is offering MSOs a free preview of its Spanish-language service.
The network will be available to operators Oct. 16-20, featuring eight matches from the UEFA Champions League, including coverage of such top European clubs as Real Madrid and AC Milan; a Sunday Night Football matchup between the National Football League’s Minnesota Vikings and New Orleans Saints Oct. 17 at 8:30 p.m. (EST); live nightly editions of SportsCenter; and ESPN’s Perfiles, an interview show with the likes of Argentine futból legend Diego Maradona and baseball Hall of Famer Juan Marichal.
In addition, viewers can screen the service’s Monday-night soccer-information block, comprising Futból Picante, a recap of the weekend’s Mexican soccer action, and Goles de España, a look at Spanish soccer-league fare.
Systems owned by Charter Communications Inc., Cox Communications Inc., Adelphia Communications Corp., Centennial Communications Corp. and Liberty Media International Inc. will present the preview to subscribers in Los Angeles, Riverside and Long Beach, Calif.; Colorado Springs, Colo.; Phoenix; Las Vegas; northern Virginia; New England; Fort Worth, Texas; and Puerto Rico.
