New Orleans, Omaha Get Cox VOD

Cox Communications Inc. has launched video-on-demand services in New Orleans and Omaha, Neb., using Concurrent Computer Corp. gear.

The MSO is using Concurrent’s fourth-generation “MediaHawk On-Demand Platform” in the two systems, which use Motorola Inc. set-tops.

The MSO and the vendor also said they will present a live demonstration of the VOD service at the National Show, being held in New Orleans May 2-5.
