TiVo to Promote Fox Films

TiVo Inc. and 20^th Century Fox announced a deal Thursday under which the personal-video-recorder service will transmit exclusive content promoting the studio's top theatrical releases.

The agreement will kick off Monday with a showcase promoting Daredevil, starring Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, which hits theaters Feb. 14.

Fox Studios will provide TiVo with content backing a total of five films this year.

"TiVo gives us a new platform for developing exclusive and entertaining content that promotes the best entertainment we have to offer," 20^th Century Fox co-president of marketing Tony Sella said in a prepared statement.
