By Steve Donohue -- Multichannel News, 12/21/2001 7:16:00 AM

CNBC CEO Pamela Thomas-Graham named Amy Zelvin vice president of public relations, where she'll oversee the network's domestic PR department.

Current CNBC PR head Paul Capelli is shifting to CNBC International as vice president of PR, where he'll oversee PR activity for CNBC Europe and CNBC Asia Pacific, reporting to CNBC International CEO Bill Bolster.

'Amy's deep expertise in PR and her leadership skills are quite impressive, and we are delighted to have her as our lead spokesperson,' Thomas-Graham said in a prepared statement.

'Paul will be able to leverage his deep knowledge of the CNBC brand to help build the profile of our international operations,' she added.

Zelvin worked at Ruder Finn Inc., Business Week and Crown Publishing Group before joining CNBC.

Capelli previously worked at Amazon.com Inc. and Ketchum.
