Cox Done Testing S-A’s ‘Prisma’

Cox Communications Inc. has completed successful evaluation and trials of Scientific-Atlanta Inc.'s "Prisma IP" multiservice digital-transport system, the two companies said Thursday.

The MSO’s Cox Business Services unit can now deploy a Prisma IP multiprotocol label-switching/resilient-packet-ring network to deliver video, data and voice services on a single network.

Cox Business Services has deployed Prisma IP platforms in seven markets.
