By Matt Stump -- Multichannel News, 11/25/2002 7:27:00 AM

Ceon Corp. and Core Networks Inc. are releasing new provisioning- and home-networking-software upgrades to their respective product lineups.

Ceon is adding a series of adapters to its "Integration & Provisioning Suite" for operators to provision new services, including an Internet-protocol-management platform, a soft switch for primary-line voice-over-IP service and intercarrier provisioning gateways for E-911 services.

Ceon said Charter Communications Inc. uses its provisioning suite.

Core Networks is launching its "CoreEnsemble" home-network-device manager. It's designed to manage IP telephony, streaming media and other packet-based services envisioned in CableHome.

The company said two MSOs are testing the product.

Separately, CSG Systems International Inc. said Time Warner Cable's national division will use its "Care Express" online customer-care product and "Electronic Bill Presentment and Payment" software.

The national division serves 515,000 subscribers.
