SiTV Beefs Up Programming Lineup

Bolstering its programming lineup as it prepares for its Feb. 25 launch, SiTV has initiated production on one series and licensed two others.

The English-language network, proffering fare aimed at young Latino and multicultural audiences, has commissioned La Loca Entertainment Inc. to produce Fly Paper: Fashion That Sticks , which will focus on developments in the urban fashion world.

The network -- which has carriage pacts with EchoStar Communications Corp.’s Dish Network, Time Warner Cable and Cox Communications Inc. -- also struck licensing deals for Urban Latino , a half-hour lifestyles show featuring entertainment and celebrity interviews, and Sony Pictures Television sitcom Malcolm & Eddie , starring Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show ) and Eddie Griffin (Undercover Brother ).
