Mag Rack Flies United

Niche on-demand service Mag Rack will be available to United Air Lines Inc. passengers starting Dec. 1.

The airline agreed Friday to provide highlights of Rainbow Media Holdings Inc.’s video magazines on domestic and international flights.

The first Mag Rack video-magazine titles set to debut are "Mission: Space," "Destination: Nature," "Maximum Science," "Inside Weddings," "Your Next Car," "Classic Cars" and "Traveler's Guide." Each will be updated regularly.

United will showcase Mag Rack's programming lineup in its monthly Hemispheres in-flight magazine. In addition, the airline will feature in-flight promotional TV segments promoting Mag Rack's on-demand availability through local cable operators across the country.
