Dish Gets India-Pakistan Cricket Tour

EchoStar Communications Corp. said Thursday that its Dish Network direct-broadcast satellite service acquired exclusive pay-per-view rights to the India-Pakistan cricket tour.
The tournament, March 12-April 17, marks the first time in 15 years the two rivals have met on Pakistani soil.
Dish residential subscribers can purchase the entire tour for $199.95 or the "One Day International" package for $179.95.
The DBS provider also recently acquired the rights from ARY Digital to broadcast all Pakistani home cricket matches through 2008.
