A June 24 article about customized cable-network promotions contained some errors:

  • The "Discovery Kids on Camera" promotion, customized for Cox Communications Inc. by Discovery Networks U.S., generated $1.8 million in local revenue earlier this year. Also, 180 affiliates had signed on for Discovery Channel's "Shark Week" promotion at that time (now 212 affiliates).

  • Comedy Central officials said Cox will use its "Rants and Raves" promotion for the second year. Comcast Corp. is not involved in that promotion, but Comedy will tailor a promo for that MSO to be linked to South Park.
