NGC Premieres Rate Well

National Geographic Channel debuted five new series last week, and viewers noticed.
The network said ratings for the five premieres averaged 88% higher than its third-quarter 18-49 primetime numbers, 71% higher than its 25-54 figures and 48% above its overall primetime average.
The new shows propelled NGC to the highest-rated week in its history, as the network posted a 0.18 primetime-average rating for adults 25-54 and a 0.16 for the 18-49 group.
The five shows NGC debuted last week were MegaStructures, Air Emergency, Seconds from Disaster, Expeditions to the Edge and Naked Science.
