Change in the Weather for Iaffaldano

By Multi Channel News Staff -- Multichannel News, 6/15/2004 12:59:00 PM

Paul Iaffaldano is now forecasting ad sales for The Weather Channel.

Iaffaldano Tuesday was named executive vice president and general manager of TWC Media Solutions, following the resignation of Lyn Andrews, who had guided the group over the past two years.

In his new post, Iaffaldano -- who had been working as senior VP of network sales and advertising-product development -- reports to TWC Inc. president Debora Wilson.

Announcing the changes, Wilson said, “Lyn has been an important catalyst in this stage of The Weather Channel's growth. During her time with us, she has strengthened and reshaped our sales organization, led us through two very successful upfront-sales processes, repositioned TWC as both a vibrant and innovative network with media buyers and successfully drove strong revenue growth for both TWC and weather.com [www.weather.com]."

She added, "I am delighted that Paul Iaffaldano has accepted this important position and confident that his knowledge, skill and style will continue to greatly benefit our organization and further the growth of our company.”
