Patrice Andrews has joined A&E Network as director, documentary programming. She previously served as head of programming and production for MetroTV in New York.
Alston & Bird
New York-based law firm Alston & Bird LLP has named David Mathus as partner in its Entertainment and Media Group. Former partner and co-head of Dorsey & Whitney's Internet and e-commerce group, he most recently served as special counsel to the general counsel of Kmart Corp. during its emergence from bankruptcy.
Comcast
Comcast Corp.'s cable unit has named Peter Lyden senior director, franchise affairs, New Jersey region. He had been regional director, government relations for northern and central New Jersey.
Caballero
Aurelia Santiago has joined Caballero TV & Cable Sales Inc. as a senior account executive. She had been a national account manager at Jones Media America en Español, a division of Jones Radio Networks.
Hallmark
Hallmark Channel has named Jocelyn Brandeis as director, corporate communications. Most recently director of corporate communications for iNEXTV.com, she also served as publicist for trade and media relations at Showtime Networks Inc.
Insight
Insight Communications Co. has named Mike Page senior vice president, data and telephone services. Previously an independent consultant, he had been a co-founder and vice president of finance and corporate development at Valor Telecommunications.
Also, Insight has elevated Kim Messina to vice president, communications. She had been assistant vice president.
Lemur
Lemur Networks has named Brion Feinberg senior director of product management and marketing. Feinberg most recently worked as vice president of product management with Viola Networks, a provider of Internet protocol network assurance and assessment software.
Mosaic
Mosaic Marketing, a Chicago-based marketing communications agency focused on cable and non-profits, named Marisa Villalobos as marketing director. She had been director of marketing at Women in Cable & Telecommunications.
Nat Geo
National Geographic Channels International has elevated Mark Green to senior vice president of programming and named Germaine Deagan-Sweet as director, program syndication. Green had been VP, program sales and co-finance; Deagan-Sweet comes from Tremendous Entertainment Inc.
RCH
RCH Cable Outsourcing Services has promoted Steve Nolfi to vice president, client services. He was previously director of client services, Northeast region.
Sirius
Sirius Satellite Radio has elevated Mike Aaron to vice president, brand and OEM (automotive) marketing. He comes from the ad agency Ammirati Puris Lintas, where he worked in account management and market planning and development.
Also, Michael Moore has been promoted to VP, customer care and sales operations. A former Time Warner Cable staffer, he has been with Sirius since 1999.
Finally, Matthew Downing joins Sirius as senior director, acquisition and subscriber marketing. He comes from DirecTV Inc., where he had been senior vice president, marketing for the broadband division.
Starz Encore
Starz Encore Group has promoted Suzanne Altshuler to division district manager, handling Comcast's mid-Atlantic region. She had been manager of strategic marketing.
20th Century Fox
Cristina Mancini has been named to the newly created position of executive director, marketing, promotion and publicity at 20th Century Fox Television Distribution. She had been director.
VH1
VH1 elevated a pair of programming executives: Michael Hirschorn to executive vice president, production and programming and Shelly Tatro to senior VP, production and programming.
The network also added three programming staffers: Jim Ackerman joins VH1 as vice president, development production and programming; Jeff Olde as executive consultant; and Matt Hanna as director, development.
WWE
World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. has tapped Tom Barreca as senior vice president, WWE Enterprises, the company's new business unit. He served most recently as senior VP, AMC Digital Ventures.
