VH1 Adds, Renews Series

VH1 announced a host of series pickups Tuesday, along with the addition of the third season of The Surreal Life and the next installment of its I Love the… specials.
The network -- which registered its most-watched quarter ever in the period ended March 28 -- placed orders for new installments of Bands Reunited, Best Week Ever, Driven, Fab Life and VH1 ILL-ustrated, network officials said.
The music/pop-culture service is also adding a new segment of Inside/Out with Dave Matthews and Phish’s Trey Anastasio, as well as I Love the 90s.
Meanwhile, a third season of The Surreal Life will join the network’s roster in the third quarter. Series producers Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego have agreed to make a third season of the reality show that has previously aired on The WB Television Network and chronicles the lives and adventures of six unlikely "celebrities" living together in a Hollywood mansion for an extended period.
