Time Warner to Superconnect Green Bay

Time Warner Cable will use Superconnect’s “PCT Link Manager ONE Platform” application to manage its PCT International Inc. “EQ Link” fiber system for its Green Bay, Wis., division.

Link Manager will configure, manage, monitor and troubleshoot the MSO’s PCT EQ Link fiber system from anywhere, anytime, using the ONE Platform Web-based interface.

The software also supports back-end monitoring and alarms that can be received via electronic mail; mobile phones; pagers; two-way mobile e-mail devices; and America Online Inc.’s “AOL Instant Messenger.”

“The ability to know about a customer's issue and call them before they've noticed any problems leaves a lasting impression,” Time Warner Cable Green Bay vice president of commercial services Bret Kindness said in a prepared statement.
