Gaston to Replace Bienstock at Comcast

Comcast Cable Communications Inc. has promoted Doug Gaston to senior vice president and general counsel.

Gaston, who had been an attorney with the MSO for the past eight years, succeeds executive VP and general counsel Terry S. Bienstock, who resigned to return to private practice.

He will report to executive VP for finance and administration Mike Tallent and Comcast Corp. senior VP and general counsel Art Block.

Bienstock said he will provide legal and consulting services with a particular focus on the communications and media industries.
