AMC Goes Western

American Movie Classics will pay tribute to the Old West with a six-film marathon Saturday.
The Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. film network will start the shooting with its 'Back in the Saddle' festival at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 9 with Last Train from Gun Hill (1959, starring Kirk Douglas and Anthony Quinn).
That film will be followed by Jim Brown, Burt Reynolds and Raquel Welch in 100 Rifles (1969) at 12:15 p.m.
The rest of the afternoon features Henry Fonda in John Ford's My Darling Clementine (1946) at 2:15 p.m. and Willie Nelson and Gary Busey in 1982's Barbarosa.
Paul Newman and Robert Redford star in Academy Award-winning Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid (1969) at 6 p.m., while The Bravados (1958), with Gregory Peck and Joan Collins, finishes the festival at 8 p.m.
