Paced by the Lennox Lewis-Mike Tyson fight, second-quarter pay-per-view event revenues jumped significantly compared with last year.

Showtime Event Television reported that event revenue for the period of April 1 through June 30 reached the $176.5 million mark, a 62 percent increase from the $108 million generated during the corresponding period in 2001.

The June 8 Lewis-Tyson event accounted for the majority of the quarter's revenue, earning $106.8 million -- an all-time revenue record.
