VH1 Def Leppard Flick Rocks

Def Leppard fans were hysterical July 18.

VH1 registered its highest-ever viewership among its core 25-through-34 audience with the premiere of its original film, Hysteria: The Def Leppard Story.

Part of the music channel's new 'My VH1 Prime Time' schedule, the movie averaged a 3.0 rating among the 25-through-34 set from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m., translating into 835,000 viewers. An estimated 5 million viewers watched the debut and its immediate repeat.

Def Leppard topped VH1's 1999 Divas concert in the aforementioned demo.
