Dubbing it the 'Access Hollywood of action sports,' Fox Sports Net will debut a daily show in January covering the emerging sports genre.
54321 will target the competitions, lifestyle music and culture surrounding such action sports as skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding and freestyle Moto-X, FSN executives said.
The half-hour show, which will air at 5 p.m., will run on FSN's owned and affiliated regional sports networks.
On-air hosts and other talent will be named at a later date.
The show will be part of FSN's three-hour afternoon block of action-sports programming (4 p.m. to 7 p.m.), dubbed 'The Rush Hour.'
'The time has come for action sports, and the growing number of outstanding athletes who participate in them, to have a regular television home,' FSN president Tracy Dolgin said in a prepared statement.
'54321 is that home by presenting all of the news, highlights and personalities that make action sports so popular today,' he added.
