HBO Promotes Kessler

Home Box Office announced Tuesday that Eric Kessler has been promoted to the new title of president of sales and marketing.

Kessler has been executive vice president of marketing since spring 1999.

A onetime marketing executive at Lever Bros. and The Gillette Co., Kessler joined HBO in July 1986 as marketing manager.

He will continue reporting to chief operating officer Bill Nelson.
