Erichson to Head Nielsen Cable Unit

Sara Erichson will lead the freshly consolidated national and local cable-ratings-services unit for Nielsen Media Research. The move reunites the two units that were divided in 1997.

Erichson, who was promoted to senior vice president, has been with Nielsen for the past 15 years, and she spent the past six leading national cable services.

Nielsen also announced that Jeff Sohinki has joined as senior vice president, local cable services, from AT&T Broadband's Boston Interconnect, where he was general manager.
