Source Signs on WideOpenWest

Overbuilder WideOpenWest LLC inked a three year deal Tuesday to deploy Source Media Inc.'s suite of interactive-television applications in Denver, the corporate backyard of the area's cable incumbent, AT&T Broadband.

Under terms of the deal, WOW will begin offering Source's interactive program guide, 'SourceGuide,' and its interactive portal, 'LocalSource,' via digital set-top boxes in March.

Insight Communications Co. Inc. and Everest Connections Corp., another overbuilder, are Source's only other interactive-TV-service customers.

Still, Source's most recent deal failed to impress investors. The vendor's sagging stock, which is in danger of being delisted from the NASDAQ exchange, was down $0.03 to $1 per share in midday trading Tuesday.
