BTBS to Serve Up Tennis Channel

BT Broadcast Services will provide The Tennis Channel with transmission services for the 2004 tennis season under a deal announced Monday.

BTBS will take primary responsibility for event transmissions on behalf of the network, including advising Tennis on the best transmission solution for each event, booking each event's contribution and distribution requirements and deploying the programming on its global satellite and fiber network during live events.

Tennis said it will air more than 1,000 hours of domestic and international tournament competition this year.
