Travel Ratings Hit New High

Travel Channel announced Friday that its Monday programming scored record-high Nielsen Media Research ratings for the network.

On Monday, Jan. 15, the network generated its highest primetime-household ratings since February 1999, as well as its strongest ratings among adults 25 through 54 since October, a spokeswoman said.

Programs fueling that ratings surge included two Travel Channel Secrets shows, one on 'Las Vegas Beyond the Strip' and the other on 'Venice in Vegas.' The latter hour alone posted the highest household Nielsen rating for any Travel show yet, she added.
