ADC Telecommunications Inc. selected Robert Annunziata and Larry Wangberg to serve on its board of directors. Annunziata is chairman of the board at Velocita Corp., and Wangberg is chairman and CEO of TechTV.
Artel
Anthony Dolph was named VP of marketing for Artel Video Systems Inc. Dolph will be responsible for Artel's worldwide business development, product marketing and marketing communications activities.
BBC Technology
BBC Technology appointed Stephen McKenna sales director. McKenna previously served as global sales director or entertainment and media at Sun Microsystems Inc.
Ceon
Ceon Corp. named Margaret Somerville senior VP of global solutions. Somerville has held positions with Media One, AT&T Corp. and US West.
CK Engineering
Tom Thorpe was named director of sales for CK Engineering. Thorpe previously served as manager of North America's merging markets for Harmonic Lightwaves.
Daniels & Associates
Daniels & Associates appointed Tom Malone senior VP of the Private Capital Group. Malone previously served as managing director at Chase Securities in the media and telecommunications group.
Cox
Jay Rolls has been named VP of data engineering for Cox Communications Inc. Rolls will be responsible for all data engineering and operations activities. Kent Chinowth was appointed general manager of Cox Business Services' West Texas region. Chinowth will be responsible for sales, support, service delivery, service assurance and customer satisfaction in the region.
CTIT
Tim Crescenti was promoted to VP of international formats for Columbia TriStar International Television. Crescenti will be responsible for developing and implementing game show and light entertainment formats and identifying new format opportunities.
Diplomatic
Jen Kelly was named director of development for production company Diplomatic. Kelly previously served as producer on Diplomatic's ESPN series 2 Minute Drill. In her new role, Kelly will oversee Smush, a game show set to debut on USA Network later this fall.
Fox
Fox Cable Networks announced several promotions within the affiliate sales and marketing staff. Oren Lieber was promoted to director of national accounts; Carlos Gutierrez was named manager of the West region; and Tracy Schwartz was appointed account executive for the West region.
Incanta
John H. Nichols III has joined Incanta Inc. as senior VP and CFO. Nichols will be responsible for the company's financial vision and strategy and will lead investor relations.
In Demand
Deborah Branch was appointed senior director of business affairs and senior counsel for In Demand L.L.C. Branch joins the company from private practice, where she handled corporate and entertainment clients.
Millennium
Millennium Digital Media L.L.C. named David Fuchs VP of engineering and technical operations; Michael Compton was appointed senior accountant; Vicki Hartwig joined the company as fixed assets and purchasing specialist; and Janet Kranz was named manager of advertising sales for the central region.
NCC
National Cable Communications has appointed account executives in three of its regional sales offices —Gina Felix in Dallas, Dennis Taylor in Cleveland and Bob Ware in Washington. NCC also named Roseann Cardullo manager of sales promotions.
Showtime
Showtime Networks Inc. has promoted Vince Porter to VP of production. Porter's responsibilities will include the supervision of the production of original movies and series for Showtime.
Terayon
Terayon Communications Systems Inc. has added two executives to its Digital Cable Solutions Group. William Burton was named VP of sales and Benny Young was appointed VP of marketing.
WGN
WGN-TV named Marty Wilke local sales manager. Wilke rejoins WGN after spending two years as WMAQ-TV's local sales director.
