Adelphia Communications Corp. reported three Southern California executives to district VP: Pennie Contos, Dan Deutsch and Nigel Ives. It also added Gerry Anstine as regional VP, engineering and construction; and Thomas E. Carlock as regional VP, law and public policy.

Jennifer Lewi was named VP, marketing at BBC America. She comes from Saatchi & Saatchi, New York, where she had served as VP, management supervisor.

Comcast Corp. reported several additions to its Western division engineering staff: Bill Bowyer, director of security; Ray Clarke, director of upgrade; Joe Mardesich, director of engineering; Alton Morton, director of technical operations; Lisa Parry, director of project management office; Steve Stugard, director of technical financial operations; Patty Fowler, Western Division project manager; Mark Harrigan, Western Division manager of compliance; Mary Hughes, Western Division project manager; Gerry Higgins, payroll manager; Sonia Mehta, assistant controller; and Michael White, assistant controller, general ledger.
CMC
Comcast Media Center has added David Higgins as VP, engineering and transmission operations. He had led project development for The Systems Group.
Also, the CMC elevated Leslie Colacello-Russell to VP, sales and marketing; John Rees to director, network origination; and Susie Tomenchok to director , strategic customer solutions.

Lino Garcia was named GM of 24-hour Spanish-language sports network ESPN Deportes. He comes from Universal Television, where he was VP, affiliate marketing and local ad sales.

Fox Cable Networks Group has elevated Rob Evanko to VP, sales operations. He had been VP, affiliate sales and marketing, Southwest and Rocky Mountain regions.

G4 reported a pair of staff moves: Mindy Brown was named director, ad sales; and Eric Nathanson was elevated to director, ad sales from senior manager.

Production shop mOcean has named Steve Kazanjian creative director, broadcast. He had been executive creative director at The Content Project.
