RCN Adds to Hispanic Lineup

OlympuSAT Inc. said Wednesday that it has signed a carriage deal for its 'Hispanic Pack' with cable overbuilder RCN Corp., which plans to launch the six-channel service as part of its digital Spanish tier in Queens, N.Y.

The channels include Canal Sur, Cine Latino, Latin TV, Puma TV, TV Chile and VidaVision.

OlympuSat will help RCN with a grassroots marketing campaign designed to help reach the Hispanic community in Queens, which OlympuSat estimated represents 25 percent of the population there.
