Iraq Boots CNN Crew

By Linda Moss -- Multichannel News, 3/21/2003 10:31:00 AM

Iraqi officials Friday expelled Cable News Network's four correspondents from Baghdad.

CNN had been the last U.S.-based television network to have staff members in the Iraqi capital, where it opened its bureau in August 1990, prior to the start of the Gulf War.

The four journalists are reporters Nic Robertson and Rym Brahimi, producer Ingrid Formanek and photographer Brian Puchaty.

The group was set to leave for the Jordanian border at the first opportunity.
