BET’s Lee Named to Marriott Board

Black Entertainment Television president and chief operating officer Debra L. Lee has been added to the board of directors at Marriott International Inc.

Lee was named to the 11-member board -- seven of whom are independent -- along with private-equity firm MidOcean Partners chairman Richard S. Braddock.

“I am pleased to announce that these two highly accomplished and respected executives and leaders are joining our board,” chairman and CEO J.W. Marriott Jr. said in a prepared statement. “Debra brings considerable operational and legal expertise.”
