Rainbow Gets Carlton Films

Bethpage. N.Y.-A Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. and Carlton International licensing deal would see such theatricals asOn Golden PondandSophie's Choiceair on American Movie Classics, Bravo, Romance Classics and The Independent Film Channel, the companies said last Thursday.

Rainbow gets rights to air about 40 feature films and made-for-TV movies from Carlton's ITC library. Cablevision Systems Corp. and NBC own Rainbow.
