Fisher Quits Comcast Board

Former Eastman Kodak Co. CEO George Fisher resigned from Comcast Corp.'s board, as the MSO said he wanted to avoid the appearance of conflict since he's sat on the board of DirecTV Inc. parent General Motors Corp. since 1997.

Fisher, who was appointed to the Comcast board by AT&T Corp., was replaced as an independent director by Castle Energy Corp. CEO Joseph Castle.
