S-A’s SciCare Adds VoIP

Scientific-Atlanta Inc. is adding a voice-over-Internet-protocol software product to its SciCare Broadband Service portfolio.

The product lineup covers project planning; assessment, design and staging services; solution implementation; training services; and post-install support.

The assessment service will allow operators to analyze the quality of their voice and data networks, implement security audits and assess back-office needs prior to launching VoIP.
