WE Gets Animated with New Series

WE: Women's Entertainment announced Monday that it will launch a new primetime animated series beginning Oct. 6.

The 13-episode series, Committed -- based on the popular comic strip of the same name -- takes a lighthearted look at the modern American family, according to the network.

WE will air weekly back-to-back episodes of the 30-minute series beginning Oct. 6.

Catherine O'Hara (Home Alone), Eugene Levy (American Pie), Andrea Martin (My Big Fat Greek Wedding) and Dave Foley (A Bug's Life) will lend their voices to the project, according to the network.
