Everstream Lands Another Time Warner System

Time Warner Cable's Rio Grande Valley, Texas, system in its Southwest division has launched Everstream Inc.'s software package giving the MSO insight into video-on-demand-usage statistics.

Everstream's “S4 Oi” operational-intelligence software allows the system to track VOD metrics such as usage, quality and capacity that can enable it to improve service.

The software allows Time Warner to look at subscriber activity, deactivation, session quality and growth rates, all of which can impact infrastructure-capacity planning. S4 Oi supports Concurrent Computer Corp., SeaChange International Inc. and nCUBE Corp. servers.

Rio Grande Valley marks Everstream's third rollout in Time Warner systems.
