The Weather Channel announced several promotions and hires Wednesday.
\u0007 Sandy Hienz was named director of affiliate sales, Eastern division, based in Atlanta. She had been account manager for the central region, based in the Los Angeles office.
\u0007 Susan Shragg was named director of affiliate sales, Western division. She had been regional manager, Southwest region.
\u0007 Brent Brackin was named manager of affiliate ad sales in Atlanta. He had been a regional coordinator with Turner Network Sales.
\u0007 Jaime Pena joined TWC's Los Angeles office as regional manager, affiliate sales, Southwest region.
\u0007 Susie Riordan was promoted to manager of the Southeast region/Caribbean, from manager of the north central region.
\u0007 Ginger Shorrock joined the network as manager of affiliate sales for the north central region. She had been account manager for TNS.
\u0007 Jennifer Ching was promoted to regional manager, Northwest region. She had been an account executive in affiliate sales.
