Comcast Ad Sales, a division of Comcast Corp., announced Tuesday that it consolidated one-dozen of its markets during the first quarter.
Among those markets, Comcast Ad Sales president Charlie Thurston said, are Seattle, Salt Lake City, Miami and Jacksonville, Fla.
To interconnect Minneapolis, Comcast worked with Charter Communications Inc., Mediacom Communications Corp., Time Warner Cable and U.S. Cable.
The key benefit, Comcast pointed out, is to make buying cable commercial avails easier via a single point of contact and standardized affidavits.
In the wake of its AT&T Broadband acquisition, Comcast is intent on "quickly securing interconnects in 54 Comcast-owned markets."
