AMC
American Movie Classics named Isabel Miller senior vice president of e-marketing. Miller, formerly vice president of Nickelodeon Online, will oversee AMC's consumer marketing and integrated promotions, including ad sales.
AT&T Broadband
Frank Schaffeld was tapped as director of facilities and real estate for AT&T Broadband. In the role, Schaffeld will oversee all of the company's facilities and negotiate all of its real estate transactions in the greater Chicago market.
Buckeye Cable
Walter Carstensen was appointed president and general manager of Buckeye Cablevision Inc. and president of its sister company Erie County Cablevision Inc. Cartensen will also continue his role as president of Metro Fiber and Cable Construction, a Buckeye subsidiary.
Brands
Brands Shopping Network Inc. appointed W. Thomas Oliver chairman and CEO. Oliver has 30 years of experience in the cable industry with companies including Home Box Office, Cinemax, USA Network and DMX Music.
CNN Newsource
Kimberly Osias was named Denver bureau correspondent for CNN Newsource. Osias joins CNN from WBMA-TV in Birmingham, Ala.
Comcast
Comcast Cable Communications Inc. named Lisa Eki Akhionbare business operations manager for its District of Columbia system. Akhionbare had been a regional financial analyst for the company's Washington Metro/Virginia region. Comcast Cable also appointed Fidel Edwards vice president of customer care for the New Castle, Del., customer service call center. Edwards previously was director of New York City operations for Cablevision Systems Corp. in Bronx, N.Y.
Cox
David Watkins joined Cox Communications Inc. as director of capital planning. Watkins will be responsible for property accounting and financial systems.
Discovery
Lisa Fischer was promoted to vice president of advertising sales for the Eastern Region for Discovery Networks U.S. Fischer will oversee one of three Eastern Region sales teams.
Food Network
Food Network tapped Mark O'Connor as director of public relations. O'Connor served in the same capacity for MSNBC.
Fox Sports Net
Krista Voda joined Fox Sports Net as a reporter for Totally NASCAR. Voda will provide features, interviews and profiles for the network's National Association of Stock Car Auto Racing coverage.
Midstream
Midstream Technologies appointed Dean Gilbert to its board of advisors. Gilbert, currently the managing director of Sandalwood Investments, has served as executive vice president and general manager for @Home Network and CEO of @Home Solutions.
OLN
Jason Miller assumed the position of vice president of advertising sales for the Eastern Region for Outdoor Life Network. Miller had been the region's director of advertising sales.
Optical Capital
Venture capital firm Optical Capital Group appointed J. Carter Beese to its advisory board. Beese, president of Riggs Capital Partners, is a former member of the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Sunshine Network
Sunshine Network appointed Tim Ivy finance director. Ivy will oversee all financial operations for the regional sports network.
Turner Learning
Joy Rosen was named vice president of marketing for Turner Learning Inc. Rosen will be responsible for all marketing and business development operations for the educational division of Turner Broadcasting System Inc.
