Barton to Headline ACA Event

Rep. Joe Barton (R.-Texas), recently elected chairman of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, will address attendees of the American Cable Association Washington Summit at a Capitol Hill luncheon on May 18.

That committee serves as the principal guide for the House in matters relating to telecommunications and cable television. That same Tuesday, ACA will attendees will hear an industry keynote by Chris Lammers, the executive VP and COO of CableLabs. And the general session finale on Wednesday, May 19, will feature Federal Communications Commission commissioner Jonathan Adelstein.
