Chiddix, Bilodeau Are SCTE Hall-of-Famers

The Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers added two names to its Hall of Fame Wednesday.

OpenTV Corp. chairman and CEO Jim Chiddix and Bob Bilodeau, a consultant and board member of several telecommunications companies, were inducted Wednesday at the SCTE’s annual Cable-Tec Expo in Orlando, Fla.

Prior to OpenTV, Chiddix had a long career at Time Warner Cable. Bilodeau was SCTE president from 1973-79.

Inductees must be active SCTE members for at least 12 years and have at least 20 years of industry experience, the trade group said.
