Court Nixes Cross-Ownership Ban

A panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit Friday refused to reverse an earlier ruling in which it eliminated a Federal Communications Commission rule that effectively banned the common ownership of a cable system and a local TV station in the same market.
