SeaChange Lands Another Insight Market

Insight Communications Co. Inc. has launched video-on-demand in Peoria and Springfield, Ill., using servers from SeaChange International Inc., the server vendor said Monday.

SeaChange has sold servers to Insight for the MSO's 10 other VOD market launches.

Insight launched VOD in the two Illinois markets in May, with 120 movies on-demand, its "Kids Unlimited" subscription-VOD package and Mag Rack.

The MSO uses Motorola Broadband Communications Sector "DCT-series" set-tops in those markets and its own "SourceGuide" application.
