MTV Announces Programming Slate

Cameron Diaz, Hilary Duff, Foxy Brown, Frankie Muniz, Orlando Jones and Andy Dick are all slated to appear in upcoming MTV: Music Television series and specials as the network announced a bevy of new programming for the spring and summer.
Diaz (Shrek 2, Charlie's Angels) will explore exotic and dangerous areas around the world as part of a new reality show, Cameron Diaz Project, while Duff (Lizzie McGuire) has signed a cable-exclusive development deal to develop at least one original reality show, according to MTV officials.
Other new shows on MTV’s docket include Foxy’s Family, a reality show based on the business and personal exploits of the raunchy rap artist; Ashlee, chronicling the life of 19-year-old pop star Ashlee Simpson; Frankie Muniz Project, in which Muniz (Malcolm in the Middle) grants the wishes of unsuspecting high-school students; and Chico and Guapo, an animated series developed by Jones (Drumline, The Orlando Jones Show) focusing on the misadventures of two Latino janitors working in a hip-hop studio.
