Tribune Buys Data Supplier

Tribune Media Services said it bought the majority interest in TVData Technologies LLP, which provides print and interactive-TV programming information and editorial features to media outlets. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed.

Tribune, which supplies most U.S. newspapers with TV-listings data, is also pitching an electronic program guide to cable operators.
