SkyStream Picks Up Comcast Money

Comcast Interactive Capital Group joined AOL Time Warner Inc., Shaw Communications Inc. and a number of venture-capital firms in a new $29 million private funding round for SkyStream Networks Inc.
SkyStream's "Mediaplex Video Services Router" is designed to help operators with video-on-demand, interactive and Internet-protocol video deployments.
It's the first time CIC has invested money in the company, while AOL Time Warner and Shaw each reupped for a second time.
SkyStream has raised more than $88 million in two rounds of funding.
