Porn Pays for New Frontier

New Frontier Media Inc. reported improved fourth-quarter-2003 results Thursday.

The adult-entertainment distributor said its fourth-quarter net income was $2.7 million, or 12 cents per fully diluted common share, versus a net loss of $5.9 million (28 cents) in the year-earlier period.

Revenue jumped 26% from $8.6 million in the fourth quarter of 2002 to $10.8 million.

Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and non-content-related amortization was $3.7 million in the quarter compared with $1 million in the year-ago period, determined prior to restructuring charges of $500,000 related to the company’s Internet group.
