Setting the Pace in Germany

Pace Micro Technology plc is making its Premiere in Germany.

The cable-equipment vendor said Friday that Premiere, Germany's largest digital pay TV operator, has ordered certified its "DS210" set-top box, as well as awarding Pace a retail license to distribute Premiere-enabled boxes directly to German retail outlets.

The first Pace boxes will be delivered in April.

The DS210 digital-satellite set-top incorporates Nagravision conditional access.
