Animal Planet named Justin Albert vice president of production. Albert will oversee the production of all original and co-produced programs for the network.
Big Idea
Terry Botwick was appointed president and chief operating officer for Big Idea Productions. Botwick will be responsible for leading business strategies in all areas of the company.
Cablevision
Cablevision Systems Corp. announced the following appointments: Michael Olsen was named vice president of legal regulatory affairs; Elizabeth Zanghi was tapped as director of operations and customer experience for the digital product management group; Joseph Leonard was named vice president of market management for digital product; and Matthew Weiss was appointed vice president of digital product strategy.
CNN
Sam Feist was named senior executive producer of Crossfire and Wolf Blitzer Reports for Cable News Network. Feist will oversee the editorial direction of both shows and manage the producers, researchers and guest bookers.
Comcast
Comcast Cable Communications Inc. appointed Bruce Trotter national sales manager of Comcast MarketLink Philadelphia. Trotter will manage all aspects of national sales efforts.
FNC
John McCann and Tim Driscoll were named account executives for Fox New Channel. McCann previously served as senior account executive at CNBC. Driscoll most recently served as account manager in the global client solutions group at CNN.
Fox Sports Net
Fox Sports Net Florida added Azuka Momah to its advertising sales staff. Momah will be based in the Sunrise, Fla., office.
GSN
Dennis Wald was promoted to vice president of affiliate marketing for the Game Show Network. Wald's responsibilities will include developing, managing and implementing GSN's affiliate marketing and local ad sales plans and partnerships.
Gemini
Gemini Voice Solutions appointed James Higgins to senior vice president of business development. Higgins will be responsible for building the success of the company's Gemini Broadband Voice service.
Hallmark Channel
Hallmark Channel U.S. announced the following appointments: Brian Stewart was named chief financial officer for Crown Media U.S.; Scott Harkcom assumed the position of director of information technology for Crown Media; and Mark Stolnitz was appointed vice president of post-production services.
MSNBC
Ona Karasa was named executive vice president and general manager of MSNBC.com. She will oversee daily operations and will be responsible for new market development and strategic planning. Also, Uli Haller was promoted to vice president of business operations for MSNBC.com. Haller's added responsibilities will include overseeing finance and business development.
Rainbow
Rainbow Media Holdings Inc. appointed Michael Connor senior vice president of programming and production for Mag Rack. Connor will oversee all aspects of original and acquired programming for Mag Rack. Rainbow Media also named Beth Sanford vice president of marketing for Mag Rack. Sanford will be responsible for the branding of Mag Rack and trade and consumer marketing strategy.

Joseph Clayton was named president and CEO of Sirius Satellite Radio. Clayton previously served as CEO for Frontier Corp.
Techtv
Techtv appointed Lynn Gutstadt to vice president of research. Gutstadt will oversee all programming, consumer and industry research strategies for the network.
TBS
Vicky Miller was named executive vice president and chief financial officer for Turner Broadcasting System Inc. Miller succeeds Wayne Pace, who has moved on to become chief financial officer for TBS's parent AOL Time Warner Inc.
Varsity Entertainment
Varsity Entertainment, formerly Emerald City Media Services, appointed two new executives. Matt Morchower was named CEO and Dave Kaufman was tapped as chief operations officer.
Vivendi Universal
Laura Martin was appointed executive vice president of investor relations and financial strategy for Vivendi Universal S.A. Martin previously served as managing director and senior equity research analyst at Credit Suisse First Boston.
