Moxi Gets TechTV's `Best of CES'

TechTV awarded Moxi Digital Inc.'s 'Moxi Media Center' home media server the 'Best of CES' at the 2002 International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

The network's 'TechTV-appointed panel of product evaluators' judged new products in 12 categories.

Nominations were evaluated according to innovative appeal, usability, usefulness and affordability.

The Moxi Media Center is a residential gateway intended to represent a replacement for digital cable or digital satellite set-top boxes.

Moxi Media Server also won in the home-video category, followed by finalists TiVo Inc. for the 'TiVo Series 2' home media server and Philips Consumer Electronics Co. for the 'DVR985' progressive-scan DVD player and recorder.
